Goodreads review
Love this app! Love keeping track of books I've read and want to read all in one place, and also being able to connect with other readers and see what they're reading. My one dislike-how I give ratings! Would love to be able to give 1/2 stars. For instance-I may really like a book but not quite 5 ⭐️-would love to give 4 1/2 not just 4. Prob me being picky but want to give a true rating.

Book organization at its finest
Love this app! The only change I'd want is for the "currently reading" section to display or give you the option to see all the books you are currently reading. Otherwise love being able to easily keep track of the books I'm reading and want to read!! Updated review Aug 2023 - it's frustrating that I can't limit a friend's view of my books. I do not need to deal with the emotional turmoil of my mom seeing that I'm in the middle of reading “Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: How to Heal from Distant, Rejecting, or Self-Involved Parents” or my partner seeing that I'm reading “Loving your Spouse When You Feel Like Walking Away” but i am reading them and they should count towards my challenge. I'd be dealing with emotional turmoil if I deleted them both from my friends so there's no winning. Would be great if there were some new privacy settings. AND how can I batch edit books owned? It's impossible!!! Update april 2024- why isn't there a dark mode?!?!

It’s like a punishment
Always crashing, terrible out-of-date recommendations, hasn't been improved in 10 years. Pitiful. You can tell Amazon cares more about $$ than books.

Genres
I love this app. I love the recommendations, for the most part. I'm selective in certain genres, as I'm sure others are as well. It would be beneficial to add a spot where you can block certain genres from constantly popping up. I love fantasy. But adult fantasy. I don't have young adult even marked on genres I like, but keep getting highschool fantasy. I do not want that. By adding an option of blocking a genre if we want would be Amazon. Please please pleas

i love this app so much but
this is one of my favorite apps ever!! however, very shortly, i WILL lose my mind if we can't at LEAST have the ability to give books half ratings!! the overall rating of books will be more accurate and i can stop giving 4.5 star books 5 stars lol. we also need the ability to respond to comments on our posts.. for real. love u tho xoxo
