So bad it feels like malware! don't know where to start with this app, but I hope hmrc did spend too much money on it. feels like someone repacked a cheap browser.

Very confusing
It was not immediately clear that a refund has been made and I was really confused after the self assessment was submitted, I was told to pay £990.60 immediately. The website was no clearer and appears to say I have to wait until June - October. I tried to ring the help [phone] times but never able to get through to anyone. Anyhow I managed to piece the information together from the website.

Lack of clarity
After repeated calls and hours and hours spent on the gov site I was not able to understand the amount due nor have yet received confirmation about my appeals for penalties. I hope this amount will be recalculated and I'll be entitled to a refund.

app could be better by letting users update estimated or actual payment after leaving jobs. Also staff on HMRC line very rude and call waiting time at least 45 mins every time

Has anyone heard from about their tax rebates iv just spent over a hour on the [phone] different occasions and the last one I spoke to someone they said they was putting me through to another team then hung up on me and didn't call me back…. Honestly nearly impossible to speak to someone it's unbearably frustrating. Funny how when you owe them money you have a few weeks to pay or it gets doubled, but when they owe money to you it's played around with till they can afford to pay you back

Constantly needs reinstalling
I would give this more stars as when it is working, I find it really useful. The problem is that it often just stops working and takes you as far as the pin screen and when you enter the pin it does nothing. It might be because its an update (in which case why not bring up a message) but even you update it you often have to reinstall and go through the whole process again. I have easily reinstalled this more than half a dozen times in the last few weeks.
