After years of bad credit and not having any cards Cashplus was my first and they helped me raise my credit rating. Really good bank and online services great rates and increase on credit limits I have no issues. However I have not given a 5 star because if you move house or have to cancel a card then be prepared for a long wait for changes to happen. Also when I got through to customer services I was greated with one of the most uninterested voices I have ever heard. Very unhelpful indeed.

Do not under any circumstances open an account with Cashplus. The customer service representatives have absolutely NO access to anything, they are just the front who then email representatives who supposedly reply on 5 working days. They restricted my account in July as I sent money to my personal as quite a few DD didn't recognise them as a bank and I started to read the shambolic reviews. They called me on the 26th July 2023... the rep said 'fair enough' when I explained and nothing since.

Unlocked one day, blocked yet again the next. Late payments fees charged on the collection date set by them! An hour and a half wait if you want to speak to someone to be treated like everything is your fault!

absolute useless bank. can't make international transfers and also the phoneline can't help with any queries as it is a self service bank. useless.

Part of credit building yearly scheme. 11 payments completed 4 days before last payment my account is saying I'm not eligible so all those payments were for nothing

Always rated highly , never a problem doing cash transfers now I am forced to download app on phone to generate security code, fine this was done, proceeded to complete critical purchase payment, time and time again after constantly checking all input data was correct and meticulously following instructions, repeated failure!!!! Never have I ever had this problem with using my computer, It's my money why aren't I in control ? !!!!!!!

Not suitable for business banking
This bank isn't ready for business. Avoid especially if you make regular outbound transfers to new clients. The only way to do this is on the app and with a text message service they provide. I have spent 3 months with them and the service was down more than it was working. YOU MUST understand the ONLY way this bank operates is via the app. If you can't make payments the attitude is ‘tough', on each occasion I rang in the team leader and manager both refused to speak to me… bare in mind if you want to close the account and put your money into a new business account that you haven't previously paid into you may not be able to. Fortunately I had paid my dad some expenses and was able to clear the account using his. You must avoid this bank if you make regular one off payments to new clients.
