The RV Life app took me to a web browser. 🤣If I had wanted to use a browser I would have skipped the app. We did the 7 day free trial and thought it would be fun since the app is all over YouTube. Wrong. The learning curve is too steep and doesn't need to be. What a way to ruin a trip. For now the simple map that connects my phone to my car is good for us. Save your money. You can pre plan your trip with Google maps. Or use other apps that are easy. 😂 sendmargaritas

Don’t buy this app!

I'm trying to cancel this subscription. I used it 2 times during a cross country trip. In Nevada, it let us to Sinclair, the oldest gas station on the highway running north to south. The app said we could spend the night there. Nope! Then, the appt took us to Costco gas and there were no gas pumps! Ridiculous!

This rating and review is for the "rv safe gps" portion of this app. When I first downloaded it to my phone, it thought I was in Dallas, Texas. I live in Oregon. I plugged in my home address and it put me about 10 miles away at a location that does not exist. I previewed a known route, a [address] and rather than staying on the "rv safe" freeway bypass, it routed me through a downtown route in the largest city in the area (175,000 populatuon). Sticking with Google maps.

Not worth the learning curve.

I used this to plan a simple route indicating I had an RV in tow. First thing this did was tell me to turn which was good. However it never returned my audio back to my radio. The last thing anyone needs is to try and figure out what's wrong while driving down the road. Aggravation is not what one desires while getting away from it all to relax.

Very disjointed

I have tried to use RV LIFE between an iPhone and a Windows desktop. The instructions are not very straightforward. By trial and error I learned that you apparently set up a trip on the website, not through the app. You can then move that trip to the app for easier access from your iPhone. if you need instructions, you're directed to Zendesk where you need yet another login. I cannot figure out how to add an intermediate stop after previously creating a trip. It is not obvious either on the website or the app how to do that, a serious deficiency. In a trial on a 7 mile course, I simply went from my office to Home, both of which are located a short distance off of the same major freeway. Rather than putting me on the most direct route via the highway, the navigation continually tried to put me on side streets making absolutely no sense. I am confounded by the fact that it seems to have so many high ratings, but that has not been my experience.

Glorified rp park ad app unless you pay for features that make it maybe slightly more usefull than Google maps. A real dissapontment and without even basic GPS on the free app, there is no desire to even try it, just Uninstaller a real shame as an rv oriented GPS could have helped but. I understand companies need money but you don't even give me a good incentive to try your app I'm the first place.

Useless to me

I listened to all the hoopla on YouTube, tried it, deleted it, back to goggle maps. That says it all. I should explain why: been using google maps for years with no issues, rvlife needs more information for planning a trip so you have to leave the app to get it and when you return you sign in again etc, I only use my iPhone so that may be a problem. So it's to most difficult app plus did you notice rvlife doesn't respond to our reviews?, because they don't care.
