The app is haunting and behaving weirdly, AGAIN!
Got a notification about a bid in an auction where the item wasn't even in my favorites list. Then the function that shows how many people are watching a certain object seems to have a life of its own, as it occasionally shows zero alerts on a number of objects that people have bid on. A result of the latest update? ;-P

Functionally good but insanely slow, even on a high end phone. Edit, I'm running the latest version of the app. It's been like this for months.

Littered with advertising
Can barely scroll through ads without getting an advertising banner over half the screen, completely unusable app. Tradera earns 10% per ad so I really don't understand why I should be forced to see ads when I want to buy/sell something. Continuing to use the website (with ad blockers).

After the latest update, the app changes language all by itself regardless of the settings. Mostly in English.

The latest update when they have moved around on some functions such as the message function, feels a bit out of place now! Otherwise, the app is great!

Usually works well
Many small bugs but have managed to sort out the worst ones over the years. Some poor and sometimes confusing integrations with some payment solutions. It's worth knowing that the support is outsourced if you choose an external payment solution that thinks Tradera is a regular online store. The push notifications become more spammy and seem to lack logic about what they send out (things I've already used, etc.) and can't be turned off. You have to turn off notifications for the entire app to get rid of the worst promotional mailings. Unfortunately, it looks like Tradera is on a downward spiral at the moment, but no service is perfect 🤷

It's a great app at its core. BUT, it has become way too cumbersome! It feels like there's too much to load when you open it or just when you scroll. Almost as you wish for a "light" variant with less features.

After the last update, the app became almost unusable. Incredibly slow and sometimes doesn't react at all when trying to click on the menus.

With us, you decide how you want to find a bargain - via auction or at a fixed price. Here's how to find a great bargain: 1. To buy on Tradera, you need to create an account. 2. With an account, you can save auctions you are interested in to your memory list by tapping the heart symbol. When the auction is about to expire, you will receive a reminder to avoid missing out on making a bid. 4. Simply tap on a product you're interested in to see if it's on auction, or will be sold at a fixed price. If it is sold at a fixed price, the purchase works like any other e-commerce, just click and buy. If there's an auction, it's important to have the highest bid when the time expires. 5. A good tip is to accept the maximum bid. This means that you enter the maximum amount you are comfortable paying for the item and then Tradera will take care of the bidding for you automatically. 6. Once you have won the bidding, simply pay using one of the payment methods specified by the seller in the auction (Apple Pay, Swish, card, PayPal or invoice).
