Always crashing
I want to like this app but when I post anything or even just open it, it's always crashing or freezes up.

Buggiest app ever. Practically unusable.
Cannot send messages or load it without getting stuck on a blank screen. Pathetic.

Had to get it for work. Fail to understand it's value or what they're going for. There are better group messaging apps for business needs, social group texting, conferencing, whatever. It would be hugely beneficial to be able to mute or silence groups. I want to get notifications from our 'out sick' group, but not the multiple other groups I'm in. As a manager, it was a massive hassle to be in more than 3 groups and get those constant notifications, or silence them and lose ALL notifications.

There’s still more lacking
Uploading pictures to an event, the app crops the pictures into a square format. This cuts off a lot from a normal picture. The only work-around is to resize the picture much larger in another app, then upload it to the event where it will be resized and hopefully capture all of the info you're wanting to share. Searching chat groups only goes back so far. We have several large chats and extending these searches back a month or two would be helpful instead of endlessly scrolling. Exporting calendars to ics, apple, or google would be awesome. Most of us have much more going on and consolidating calendars into one of our favorite apps is nice but there's no way to do that here. Being able to share events to another group would be nice but outside of recreating it manually, there's no way to do that. Some of our larger groups really need multiple admins to manage them properly. No way to do that either. Adding files to groups would also be nice.

Horrible app
I downloaded GroupMe and had to join it for my class at my school. We have to send different things that we complete such as quizzes and videos. My videos never send they're very short I've tried updating and re-downloading the app and it doesn't work. I signed out of the app to give that a try and it has completely kicked me out for some reason when I go to sign in it's wanting to verify who I am using a completely old phone number that I don't even have the problem is it doesn't give an option to send a code by email which is completely ridiculous. Most apps have two step verification with phone phone number and email my email is current and correct so now I'm kicked out of the app. Customer service is closed and I can't submit my homework. Thanks a lot GroupMe.

Very slow and photos don’t upload half the time
Very poor performance in terms of speed. Doesn't upload photos half of the time the circle just spins.

Stopped working
I've used group me for years. All of a sudden, it stopped working. I get notifications that someone posted something, but I can't see their post. I've updated the app, I've updated my phone, I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing has worked.

GroupMe is a great communication app, although it is quite a bit slower than Meta. New messages don't load as quickly and reactions to texts don't always show up. But other than that, it's really nice and simple to navigate.
