Just tried to set up new payee and the text message has an 8 digit code. Who can remember that. All other banks use 6 digit. Do not get a savings product from Metro as they credit all the interest at the end instead of yearly. Was a while ago that they credited me with £500 tax on a 3 year savings account but they never found anyone who could discuss it. They should of added the interest to the account annually then I would not have paid tax on it

Nice app, works well. Would be better to get push notifications on transaction etc…

What's wrong with this app? Just set an account up and trying to login but the Continue button doesn't work. So then tried the website and they said they sent a text to a number ending 1234. Obviously not my number! What an absolute farce. Had a verification during setup to my number so that makes no sense. Now I have to waste even more time closing this account! Do not use this bank! Can't imagine this stress if I actually had money in there.

Great but…
Good Bank in most ways but they still don't support open banking so you can't connect the account to a number of finance management apps.

Terrible. Impossible to search transactions without it crashing. This bug has existed for over a month as well.

Problem with logging in every so often i can't get the access to my account. Had situation when I could not pays the bills..... Please fix it as is really annoying.

Very poor bank. They do nothing for months to deal with fraud (first making sure to waste client's time on going through the motions, and promising to deal promptly). They ask racist questions and deny clients services based on nationality. What else? When asked how to close the account, they just put you on indefinite hold or hang up.

Registration - Getting Started
Whether you’re an existing or new Metro Bank customer it’s simple to get started.
- If you’re registered for online and telephone banking, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number, 8 digit security number and your password
- If you’re not registered for either, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number and the details of the card you used most recently or your Magic Word.

Metro Bank’s mobile app is available for Personal customers and also Business customers if they’re using Business Internet Banking only.
