Garmin Drive™ - Latest Quality Issues

Extremly slow and buggy. Always problem with connecting over WiFi to Mini Dash 2. Filtering broken, often options for filtering disappear an killing the app is required to get them back. Speed in which it downloads recorded material once you are lucky to initiate(1 on 50-70 attempts!) is just a totaly not funny joke. On top of that breaks connection between Android Auto and the Car. Don't buy this trash!

Unnecessarily complicated. All I needed this for is to start using a new camera. Failed to show pictures on the phone via WiFi. Forced to use this app just because bought that camera

Almost useless. Won't connect to Live View.

One star rating from me as so far I not able to connect to my Garmin dashcam no matter the number of tries. It's unbelievable to think that someone as reputable as Garmin cannot get things working, yet here we are. 🤔

Automatic incident detection overwrites manual saves.
The automated accident detection feature (or as a PA resident, pothole detection) takes priority over all other video, including manually saved footage (toggled by pressing the button on the camera). Ironically, the incident detection did not detect an accident I was involved in, so I manually saved it. A few potholes on the way home resulted in the footage being overwritten. You either need to have a massive SD card or manually delete the large cache of automatic saves on a weekly basis. There is an option to disable incident detection in the settings, but that only toggles parking incident detection (which is arguably 100000x more useful than the pothole detection). This could be fixed with a simple firmware update. The camera is great otherwise.

Not connecting
Lately I find that the App does not want to connect to my Zumo XT.

Pretty useless app
The WiFi connection of the app with the dashcam crashes every 15 sec, so viewing videos via the app is impossible. “Liveview” to setup the initial camera position has the same issue and crashes every 15sec. Reconnecting is a hit and miss.

Terrible, won't connect to dashcam to view videos anymore

The Wi-Fi connection was a mirage of the first day, then I have not gotten it again. Unable to update firmware either. I think the ability to see images in real time is critical. A disappointment.
