The app barely works in the store even with great reception. The deals scanner doesn't work half of the time. I don't want to clip deals on my phone. I only want the coupons in the store. The pharmacy feature is the only reason I keep this app on my phone. Do better.

Imagine the following scenario, over and over again. You need milk, but lack the time to go into the nearest store, which is 10 miles away. You're disabled and it's snowing. you order the minimum of $30 in food, to go with your milk. You pick backups for all your items, and get to the store and pick up your order. You drive all the way back home in the snow to find out they forgot the milk. Wash, rinse, repeat, forever.... Even refunded, this is the exact opposite of helpful.

App fails - check your receipt!
I'm waiting for a class-action lawsuit against Albertsons for its App's failing to give customers the promised deals. I hate Albertsons because of the number of times the app did not give me the promised deal - even when staff confirmed I'd used the app correctly. App frequently fails - resulting in you having to go to Customer Service counter after checking-out to get the price ‘corrected' if you want the sale price. In the past, when scanners and computers made a mistake the company stood by its technology and gave you the item free. Now it makes you stand in line just to get a refund/the sale price. IMHO this App is Albertsons scamming the public by making the app as convoluted as possible and highly unreliable. Most people don't check and/or have the time to waste seeking a correction/refund from customer service. It feels like Albertsons knows this… and avoids giving savings/deals. Why make you find the item and clip the deal. That's not member benefits - it's app-scam to make you take extra steps to get the supposed deal. I prefer to shop where the sale price does not require App gimmicks and the checkout is accurate. Really frustrating and angering. Customer Service and app developer responses feel disingenuous and fake to me, especially because the ‘errors' keep happening. Please stop the games.

Excludes elderly customers who aren’t tech friendly
I was just told that the pharmacy now can't change the phone number text notifications are sent to for Rx info. The pharmacist also expressed frustration with this change. Apparently the customer can only do it on the app. Unfortunately my mom, who is increasingly confused, does not understand how to do this nor does she have the app. I just updated my app to see if I can do it from mine and now the app is glitchy. Come on Albertsons!! This isn't cool.

Be careful!
New user just downloaded app. Went looking for a small bag of coffee and saw it for $95.00!?! Then saw it's a third party reseller on the Albertsons app? I am deleting app as this feels dishonest and misleading and very similar to Amazon and their “sponsored” or third party resellers. Beware
