Waste of time
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Why would you force your customers to open a checking account. Offer help and then not give it to them?? It would be nice to talk to an actual person who knows how to do their job and not someone who just knows how to copy and paste prompts. I use this app quite often in recent years, but I was no longer interested once the app forces its user to open a checking account through their app to get a cash advance. I feel like users should be given a choice instead of it being forced on them in regards opening up a checking account through this app. It comes off as aggressive and money hungry. This is a truly disappointing end to this app and unless it changes that feature specifically, I will no longer be engaging with this app.

Would never use again
I signed up to be able to get instant money when I need when I'm down bad… so I connect where I get paid and they take my check in instantly put into the Albert account. I can only withdraw 500 a day five dollar fee so you can't even get your paycheck that you're owed I didn't ask for my paycheck to be deposited into the account, this fees, fees fees, they're not worth it and you don't get all your money worked for

Sent my money to a bank that’s no longer open
I get a text message one day saying that I had $100 in my Albert account. I could you not I did not remember what Albert was. I hadn't use the app since 2020. I tried with everything in my heart to withdraw the money however, they said that I had to verify that I was the owner of a bank account that I closed out years ago. The only way to verify ownership was to submit bank statement from the closed bank account that proved that I owned it. Being able to access that with a headache and itself because I had to go to the bank every single time wait in line patiently, and they had to verify that I was the person who had that bank account because it was so long ago and I change my last name. However, I was able to get a statement so I submit it. They said that's not correct they need specifically a 2022 statement. I go back to the bank and get a statement from 2022 and upload the bank statement and add my new bank account so I can transfer the funds to that one. It wouldn't let me transfer the funds to the bank account. Ended up transferring the money to the closed bank account. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Systems that Albert has in place to protect its customers is not efficient or user-friendly. if I can give a zero star I would.

It’s a rip off - don t sign up or you will pay for it!
It costs at least 10 $. Without any service beside showing the same information your banking app does. Even when you stop put money in their account you will have to pay. And if you want to quit it's extremely hidden and complicated. It took me now 4 days with 8 logins to be able to quit. So clear recommendation: DONT! This app cost me know 50 $ for nothing

Review
I've had this app for a few years I was late on one of my cash advance I had taken paid it back and still haven't been eligible to fake another one and it's been months since I've paid them back by far the worst if you are 2 weeks late to pay them back and they still take out $14.99 every month

Horrible app
When I initially joined Albert it didn't even prompt me to pay for the services and I had no idea it was subscription based, I just woke up with the money gone from my account one day. It randomly “saves” your money and makes it increasingly hard to transfer it back when you need it, and when you eventually want to deactivate your account, you get a message saying LITERALLY ANY DEPOSIT YOU RECEIVE ACTIVATES YOUR ACCOUNT AGAIN. Albert is a dishonest annoying to use platform and is purposely vague about its terms to seem more user friendly

Absolute garbage
I had this account for a total of 3 weeks. the Low advance followed by high fees were enough to deactivate account , but if only it were that easy . I have been trying to cancel this account for the past week with no customer service just the app text messaging I am being given excuses after excuse why they can't cancel . “ you have to wait 2 days then try “ surprise surprise still cannot cancel . On the brink of just going to my bank and reporting them as fraud . Reminds me of the call center scams that would get you to sign up and make it impossible to cancel . Plenty of better apps download earnin or Dave this is hot garbage
