January 2025 Although the old version of the app was basic, I am finding I prefer it over the updated version at this point. This new version seems to either overlook basic navigation options or they simply don't work. For example, when I click on a product while viewing Aldi Finds, I am unable to go back to the previous page listing all of the items. The “back” arrow is disabled so I have to go back to the home menu and start all over. The app looks nice, and it appears that it would be easier to navigate, but this has not been my experience. I like where it is going … it's just not there yet. I look forward to future updates that address the navigation challenges.

I had previously reviewed the former new app. I agree with the current reviews. Bring back the list feature as now it's too cumbersome to find and remember the Aldi finds we want. With this new app it's easier to just browse at the store itself. Not everyone shops online and wants to add things to the cart. At the very least a “view print flyer” feature needs to be made available. There needs to be a form to give feedback about the app, not just the store or products. What I said before below about the app size stands especially with this newest update that is obviously geared to online shoppers - who btw most likely shop via third parties anyways. Not sure I will use the new app as it's huge. Instead this version was small, which is the right size. Apps should not be big even though most are becoming so.

Now you can't see what groceries are coming up ahead of time. It was the only reason I used the app. They need to go back to the original design.

I love Aldi's and definitely appreciate the new app, however, I feel that it's still lacking compared to others… I wish there was an option for a QR scanner nestled into the Shopping List so that you can scan items while in the store and have them not just be automatically added to the list, but also do an auto tally of the prices (after quantity selection) similar to what Walmart's app features. I feel like adding this would make greater use of the app and would enhance the shopping experience because every time I step foot in store, the lines are outrageously long and could help bypass the hassle.

CHANGE IT BACK. If I can't see what all the upcoming finds are, I AM NOT BUYING THEM. Although so far I'm saving $100 each week, so thanks for being terrible, I guess.

The app is now completely unusable with the new way it displays Aldi finds. Absolutely useless. The new format is so incredibly inferior to the old one- harder to access, less information, and a worse experience to browse. Whoever designed this should not work in this field, plain and simple. What was so hard about how the old view just populated an easy to scroll list (on ONE page) that refreshed weekly? Incredibly disappointing and will definitely reduce my trips to my store since this feature drew me in.

I use to start my Wednesday morning with excitement. I could see what fresh produce was in, but, more importantly, I could see the UPCOMING Aldi finds. I planned the next week's shopping around NEXT week's Aldi finds. This new app has ruined that. Please go back to the previous version. I know I am not the only one who feels this way. No one I know personally uses the app for online shopping. We use the app to plan our in store shopping. You have made that more cumbersome or not possible at all. Now we just do not go to Aldi. See what you have done here?

Why doesn't your app remember my local store choice? This should be a basic feature of any shopping app. Each time I want to see the ad for my local store, I need to search for it because the default store the app displays is 50 miles away from me. Please fix this. UPDATE: Thought I would give it a second chance. After I create an account, my local store can not be found on the app even though it used to be displayed. This app is just bad. I am deleting it for a second time now.

New app is absolutely terrible. Hard to navigate and view items. Was much better before. I'm deleting it.
