Music doesn't keep playing if you have the app in the background.

Bandcamp is a great platform but recently the iPhone app keeps crashing to the point that I had to delete it.

Bandcamp removed Chromecast functionality in the past couple weeks (today is 20240418) Greatly drops my opinion of the app to lose functionality I leveraged daily.

gotta love supporting my favorite artists through bandcamp indeed. but there seems to be one issue i've spotted so far: DOWNLOAD BUTTON. it just saves the audio to the cache, not allowing you to actually access the downloaded files unlike the desktop/PC version, not even in the hidden files. the artists i support allow to use their audio and I'd like to be able to do that. i wanna set my favorite tracks as a ringtone, i wanna access the zip files with exclusive wallpapers.

***update 190424 Chromecast support has dissapeared, lot's of unhappy customers, see Reddit.*** Great app, great music bit PLEASE add Chromecast support.

The app lacks many of the features of the web version, such as downloading the music files directly to the file manager and hidden discs from the collection keep popping up.

So far, 3 stars. Pictures of albums and tracks are not displayed, there is no information about tracks and avatars of followers as in the VEB version.

I've had bandcamp forever, and I love it, but out of nowhere, the cast button just disappeared. I have to dock points for that. It's pretty useless now that I can't cast the music I've paid for to a device.

app is fairly OK to use, navigation is cumbersome to for example messages. biggest bug is the loss of chromecast support since this week, please work on that to bring it back!
