Nifty mint like copy but I can't see cancelled checks anymore and that's more important than the fancy

Lots of great features that are not available in the web client. Only 4 stars because I can see or modify external transfers from the app.

The solution offered by the development team did not help. That's why I changed to 1 star. The mobile deposit feature should be better than a human teller at detecting potentially fraudulent checks. That technology exists. The BECU banking dept. puts responsibility on the users of the app - saying that if used the client is liable for the fraudulent check. BECU app does not protect the consumer. “For People, not for profit” is a catchy slogan, but not a principle the tech team backs up.

Not working. Worked until this year. Now have uninstall and reinstall every month to use it.

WORST BANK EVER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Their 800 service sucks and is hour waits and local branches never pick up. They stranded me on other side of country cause my wallet was stolen and couldn't reach anybody to shut it down and password mysteriously didn't work that was saved on phone and lost thousands of dollars! DO NOT BANK HERE! Boeing is cutting corners!

This app has not seen a lot of changes for the years ive been banking with becu. Ive been seriously considering moving all my banking to a different credit union because their app is so far behind modern standards its not even funny. Ive sent several feedback asking for the bare minimum of having a running balance under each transaction. Basically there's a total, a debit, and credit and thats it. They dont show pending transactions, you just have to wait until the total reflects your latest deposit or withdrawal. Because of this, i have to wait a couple of days between multiple payments just to make sure im not overdrafting my account. Zelle integration is awful. The only way to see the memo is from the text notification, which doesnt even show the complete memo if it's over a certain amt of characters. To make significant changes in zelle, you have to go to the desktop site. Each loading screen takes a godawful amount of time as well. Cant do autopay in mobile, have to do it on the website. In fact, you cant really do anything major with this app. Cant see statements and documents. Cant see transactions past 3mos i think. And theres no search/filter that allows past that time limit. Usually having statements is a good alternative. Well. You just go on the website. They recently (finally) added Envelopes. Ive been waiting on it forever because I love the idea of being able to divide money in the savinhs account virtually. It's way in the bottom of the app, so it's always out of sight. The envelopes dont even show up under the savings account. So whats the point of having it. Overall the speed of the app is also slow. With how basic the entire app looks you would think it would be fast. There's not a lot of bells and whistles to this thing. But it's just. So. Slow. I keep hoping becu will overhaul the entire app and join the modern banking world and make everything convenient. Cause thats what having a mobile app is about

Im trying to open a account with BECU it keeps telling me my camera is not allow my camera is allowed but it wont let me get past the camera.Do i have to have a Iphone for this to open a account.

I use ExpresssVPN on my phone and within the last week, the BECU app refuses to authenticate through VPN. It worked fine for years until recently. I can log in using the web browser on my phone while connected to VPN. I have to disconnect from VPN to use the BECU app.

Overall, the BECU app is decent and a great way for members to keep track of their accounts and spending. I would rate 4 stars if not for the app's hit-or-miss ability to log in when connected to a VPN — please fix.
