New interface is not very intuitive. Transaction records show duplicate entries. This caused me wasted time calling companies saying I was double charged....

Notifications Never Work
For some reason the notifications involved with verification never work, no matter how many times I update or double-check my settings are correct. Luckily I get unlimited texting, but for those who don't have that it's unnecessary to have to pay every time the app randomly needs to verify you. Even then, if my service plan is acting up I have no way of verifying my activity and have had multiple instances where I was unable to make a purchase despite my account being completely functional. Been like this since I downloaded the app. Please fix.

The balance issue is still there. I have a solution though: If the value calculated from the credit limit minus the available credit minus the pending charges is used the balance would be accurate. The headline balance as shown rarely equals this number, particularly at the end of the month. Perhaps that value is taking into account another holding location for certain transactions that I cannot see (ie not in pending and not finalized). Please fix or provide explanation.

Scammers, they closed my account without notice and stole my money. All money I put in they classified as a fee.

ID verification "System Error" messages won't let me use the card. The help line was unhelpful, they said there is nothing wrong, which turns out to be wrong. "At CIBC, we're not happy until you're not happy."

The Misses
The app is excellent for 90% of my needs. Easy to use and convenient. The new Insights part of it however is not useful at all. For one thing, it assumes that all deposits from government of Canada is a tax refund. There are a lot more departments than CRA within gov't of Canada. For example, retired military pension income, Veterans affairs income, disability payments, GST rebates, carbon tax rebates etc just to name a few.
