Good bank but
Been with Monzo for 6 years now, their app up until the last big change was amazing and so user friendly. Now it's a mess, to access pots easily you have to add them above your account, it was much easier to have them to the main menue like they used to be. With left to spend, it was perfect where it was, right bellow your account balance… Changing your reset date is a game of hide and seek. In their help me option, the first suggestion is how to reset it, so maybe it's a sign that this feature is more difficult to find that it should be. Overall the bank itself is very good, I just think that their app has gone way too far and became much less user friendly than what it was, my dad who's 60 now can't work it out and rather go back to is old bank.

Rubbish protection
Allowed someone to take £400 from my account when I wasn't even on my phone, asked me for no approvals or consent, then after weeks of fraud disputes said "you must have authorised it, we can't do anything about it". Again, I wasn't on my phone and approve sending £400 to anyone, don't even recognise the payment. And I'm not a muppet who got taken by some scam, I was watching tv and monzo authorised the payment without my consent. Avoid these guys

Monzo - Please listen to your community and feedback!
Dear Monzo, You used to be simple, easy to use and was accessible by everybody of all ages. Nowadays, it's becoming an App that looks like it's trying to gamify a bank with all these snazzy things that a small population of your customer base seem to use. To name a few things: - The budgeting is getting harder to reach. Almost like you're preparing for this to be the next thing to be axed. The one feature that I always praised Monzo for was its budgeting ability. Nowadays, it's becoming harder and harder. (Click on your card and then this tiny little pie chart). Tapping onto these categories doesn't show the small reference of each payment anymore. Like you're forcing users to use ‘Trends' and show fancy visuals. By the way, excluding your payment from summary doesn't work on trends. So angry. - There are so many buttons everywhere. So. So many. It's impossible to onboard anyone anymore. It's just a sea of unused features. - Help has become the least used area. Used to care about customers.. obviously that's no longer a thing as others have already said, you can't get to live chat easily anymore. Sincerely, [name] you think who are looking elsewhere..

Not showing how much I’ve spent
Just done an update and now whenever I spend it's not showing up how much I've spent throughout the day, can you please bring that feature back as I knew how much I was spending. Thanks
