PNC Mobile Banking - Latest Quality Issues
iOS

Poor support for older iOS
The PNC app will only work with iOS 12 or newer. It's been that way for sometime. My wife and I have iOS 11 on our iPhone 6Ss. On those phones we have to use a browser to look at PNC banking. So please tell me what's more secure, using the app or going through a browser that will remember my username and password. I don't believe they put a lot of thought into supporting their customers when removing support for older operating systems on iPhone. Apple has shown us in the past that upgrading the operating system on older devices can help Apple obsolete our devices sooner. I am very happy with how my device works now and do not want to “upgrade” my iOS. Thanks for forcing conspicuous consumption consumer culture PNC.

The mobile app only allows payment on certain types of accounts. I noticed that account types where they stand to make more money like personal lines of credit and auto financing do not allow payment from the app. Only a partially finished app

The app used to be good but over the last few months I get a network error trying to log into it. The customer service said it's a Wi-Fi issue but every other app that I have never has a problem. Even if I turn off Wi-Fi on my phone I still get the same error. The app is bad enough that it makes me want to leave PNC Bank.

Mobile deposits don't work. It just logs me out of the app after submitting the pictures...

Since my last update I cannot logon to the mobile app...I keep getting a message to check my network connection. I don't have a bad network connection, I believe it is an issue within the mobile app.

App doesn't let me login even after reinstalling.

PNC app for general purpose is perfect. Zelle integration is a joke, as is Zelle. Zelle is unquestionably the worst tool for sending and receiving money. It's embarrassing how bad the Zelle service is, I've tried to use it twice and both times was a failure, so this app loses 2 stars.

App was working fine then for the past 2 weeks cannot even login. Keep getting "network error: check connection". I've done it on Wi-Fi, data network with strong connection, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, etc.. nothing works. Need for this to be fixed! Never had this issue and used app often for a while.
