On 11 April 2024, I tried to purchase airtime on the app, on the purchase screen when proceeding with buying airtime the app says unavailable and shuts down. Then, I received an sms with a pin to verify the airtime purchase? I called the customer care number and the call center agent said there is a technical problem which should be sorted out soon. It's the 15th April and airtime purchases are still not working?

"something went wrong. Please reload and try again." Shockingly bad app that has this error message when you're trying to navigate it. I wanted to join standard bank but they clearly aren't interested in new customers.

App was working fine until one afternoon where I get an error message saying"The service is currently unavailable,please try again later while we investigate" and ive tried everything from uninstalling, reinstalling,flight mode connecting via wifi I put my data on and off and after numerous attempts to get a hold of standardbank waiting on hold with elevator music in my ears still nothing,no solutions have been found and its been days now im genuinely highly disappointed.

Worst Banking app I have used
This has to be the most frustrating banking ever, I've used Nedbank and Discovery and never have I battled as much as I have with this app. Why does it want an OTP after the Face ID? I sit there refreshing my emails hoping that the sign in doesn't time out. Which it does! Then if that isn't annoying enough, if you work on another app for ten seconds then go back to this app it logs you out again, then you are back to swiping your inbox, waiting for that OTP. Also, the UI is dated.

Got a new phone, tried logging onto my Standard Bank Mobile app, after putting in username and password, a one time password, and then I am asked to put in my card number and the Pin to verify, why do you need my card number and the Pin to verify, warning bells went into overdrive, this does not seem right. Please fix this as your clients pin is personal, as Standard Bank has countless times told us keep our pin safe and never share it. So we will for our own safety not share it. Fix your app
